Air Conditioner Units for a Trade Show

There is a great deal of planning that goes into creating a successful tradeshow. Outside of booking a location, attracting vendors and organizing those vendors, creating a comfortable environment in terms of temperature is considered as well. Many companies utilize air conditioner units to keep the room cool and comfortable for all attending the trade show. Because trade shows attract a great deal of people, air conditioner units are very high on the list of priorities. Attendees and vendors do not want to worry about being a hot sweaty mess while trying to promote their product or services. They expect the trade show venue to comfortable.

Trade show organizers often use our air conditioner units to keep their event cool and to allow them to focus on other important details. Often event planners and their team don’t have time to concern themselves with monitoring temperatures, so air conditioner units definitely come in handy. Trade shows are usually large and held at convention centers or ballrooms so industrial air conditioners are necessary to cool the large space.
Our industrial air conditioners and chillers are designed to quickly and efficiently cool large spaces to help your event be a success. At Carrier Rentals, we do our best to provide our customers with the best air conditioning units available. Contact us to see how we can help you by cooling your space, regardless of size or shape.

When is It Appropriate to Use Temporary Air Cooled Chillers?

10 to 500 ton air-cooled temporary chillers are an excellent emergency cooling option for large businesses, buildings or areas. These offer supplemental cooling when there is an HVAC equipment outage or when the HVAC equipment is being worked on. These temporary chillers offer supplemental or stable emergency cooling under most conditions and help keep office equipment secure and working conditions as comfortable as possible. They can be easily installed and ready to function immediately.

If you ever wonder what type of situation merits the use of a temporary chiller, let’s look at the case of the USS Intrepid. In 2000, the naval ship was undergoing a revitalization project, and the HVAC system needed updating. However, because of the enclosed quarters, workers could not be left without any type of cooling system. To make matters worse, the Intrepid was scheduled to be a part of the 2000 Op-Sail festivities during the same interim as the HVAC repair work was being conducted.

Some type of temporary cooling system was needed, and this is when Carrier Rental Systems was called in to provide a temporary chilled water cooling system. Carrier Rental System developed a portable system made of two 210-ton air chillers, two large generators, pumps and all other necessary accessories.

The portable system was set up on trailers for mobility and to save space. It offered the cooling the ship needed and allowed for the continued work on the existing HVAC system without interfering with the ship’s functionality.

This same type of temporary chiller system rental can work on any other type of building or business. So, when you need temporary cooling options, especially during HVAC repair work, you may want to consider a Carrier temporary water-cooled chiller option to keep the indoor environment as comfortable as possible. This not only helps employee performance, but keeps existing office equipment, such as computers, servers and printers, in optimal condition.

What are Heat Exchangers?

Heat Exchangers are used to maintain a desired temperature in a closed in area. The heat exchanger works on electrical energy. The air in the area that is controlled by the heat exchanger is directed to one of the tubes in the heat exchanger. The tube has been heated up to produce heat or cooled down to produce cold air. The air inside the controlled environment does not need to circulate outside of the controlled area. There are many different types of heat exchangers. The main purpose to use heat exchangers is to control the temperature of an enclosed area, which might be anything from a space ship to a utility plant

Heat exchangers can include fans that help to circulate the air within the enclosed area to keep pockets of hot or cold air from forming. There are ways of cleaning the air in the enclosed area of contaminants by cleaning out the filters through which the enclosed area's air keeps circulating to get heated or cooled depending on the purpose of the enclosed area and the type of heat exchangers used. Most people are aware of heat exchangers as the control mechanism of their refrigerator and freezer.

There are available heat exchanger kits that can be set up quickly in less than an hour that are being sold online. These heat exchangers have specified purposes and might be used to control a laboratory from outside air contamination. Enclosed room temperature controls and hot or cold options are what heat exchangers are best known to do. Whether you are preparing for a spaceship air temperature controlled capsule or are looking to control the temperature in your facility, heat exchangers are easily found online through Carrier and are environmentally-friendly since they require a small amount of electricity to work

Be Prepared for a Power Failure with Carrier Industrial Air Conditioner Units

Industrial buildings and businesses often need an air conditioning alternative, especially when construction, maintenance or upgrades are conducted on-site, and especially in situations where the power needs to be turned off for an extended amount of time. One acceptable alternative to the air conditioning problem can be Carrier industrial portable air conditioner units.

Let's take the example of a recent high school that needed to make changes to the main transformer and electrical feed in one of the buildings. The maintenance personnel needed to update the main transformer and electrical feed but did not feel comfortable with working on a live system. To prevent accidents, they suggested the school shut down the electricity in the building, but the school did not take well to the suggestion, as they did not want the building to remain in an unconditioned state for the summer months. They feared issues with humidity and mold within the building.

They found a solution in renting a Carrier external mobile air conditioner. Carrier Rental Systems offers temperature control and power generation systems that are mobile and reliable. They are the perfect temporary equipment you can use for either a planned project or an emergency situation. This type of air conditioner can cool a building or even a tent for a few days while new equipment is being installed.
Carrier portable air conditioner units come with different features. The following features are available in an industrial mobile air conditioner unit.

• Industrial units
• Explosion proof units
• Reheat options.

These portable and durable industrial air conditioners offer relief from heat and work in commercial, construction or industrial situations. All you need is to call Carrier and have an industrial air conditioner rental delivered to your site.
