Using a Cooling Tower Rental for Your Temperature Control Needs

When your building's equipment fails or you're faced with a daunting repair project, a cooling tower rental might be exactly what you need to ensure that you maintain temperature control and expel heat properly. Cooling towers come in many different sizes depending on their application, but they all perform key functions. When you look to rent through Carrier Rental Systems, you have the choice of renting the cooling tower or renting an entire industrial cooling solution depending on your specific needs.

Cooling towers are essential parts of HVAC systems if there are water-cooled chillers in use. Because water-cooled chillers are still more prominent than air-cooled chillers, chances are this is the type of system you're working with. Typically, a cooling tower rental makes the most sense when an existing cooling tower fails and it has a critical effect on the entire HVAC system. Without any way to properly chill the air, you're facing a full shutdown which can be costly. With the temporary cooling tower in place, you'll be able to continue your day-to-day operations while repairs are made.

Cooling towers are present in many different kinds of commercial and industrial systems. Carrier Rental Systems has taken on projects of many sizes. In one instance, we supplied a customer with a temporary 2,000 ton portable cooling tower system when their existing tower broke down. The portable system allowed the customer to continue normal operations without facing any significant delays. Contact us today if a cooling tower rental is the solution that you need.

How a Boiler Rental Can Help in a Pinch

When it comes to renovation or repair work, one always has to be prepared for unforeseen problems. If you've been under contract to work on a commercial job, you know that inevitably something will come up. Whether it's permits not coming in on time, not being able to arrange the proper timeframe to do the work because of tenants or any other reason you can think of, you know you'll have to think on your feet and work with what you've got. In some situations, a temporary boiler rental can save the day.

Suppose that the owners of an office building planned to replace their old, faulty heating system in the summer. That's the perfect time to tackle the project. But due to roadblocks, the project didn't start until November. There was no way that the tenants of the building would be able to come in and run their businesses if the building was freezing. With a boiler rental, a temporary heating system can be established while the work is done replacing the building's old equipment with new, permanent equipment. This temporary system ensures both workers and tenants can comfortably go about their business during the long process of getting the permanent equipment in place.

Heating and air conditioning rentals are the best solution in a pinch. If a project is postponed until an inconvenient time of year, temporary systems are your best bet for making sure the job is done right. Inquire about scheduling a boiler rental today.

An Air Handler Rental Provides Solutions for Renovation Projects

Renovation projects on large structures, such as a school or manufacturing plant, can bring complications. For example, let's say school administrators decide to renovate the school's HVAC equipment during the summer months while the building is mostly empty. Because of the size of the school, certain portions of it would be left without temperature control for weeks. Despite school officially being out for the summer, you'd still have administrative staff in the building as well as students attending summer school. Being unable to control the humidity in the building for weeks at a time would be a serious problem. That's where an air handler rental comes in.

Having an air handler unit available temporarily while renovations were done would allow for temperature and humidity control while the school's permanent HVAC system went through repairs. Air handlers are essential for passing clean, dust free air through ducts as well as providing comfortable air temperatures. Because it's the summer, it's especially important that the air handler rental works to keep the humidity from getting too high around the building. With the proper set up, the rental equipment won't cause the project to go over budget. In fact, instead of needing costly generators, the equipment can just the use the building's existing power source.

Air handler rentals are a cost effective way to complete a renovation project while ensuring workers and tenants remain comfortable during extreme weather months. Learn more by viewing the selection of equipment available from Carrier Rental Systems.

The Benefits of Using Air Cooled Chillers for Industrial Projects

Over time, air cooled chillers are becoming the go-to type of chiller for commercial and industrial applications. In the past, it was always assumed that water-cooled equipment was the better choice. Most will concede that water-cooled chillers probably deliver better performance, but that their requirements to get that performance make air cooled chillers an equally valid choice. Water cooled chillers rely on the addition of condenser pumps and water cooling tower fans in order to give you the results you desire. And when you're working under part load conditions, the difference between air cooled chillers and water cooled chillers essentially disappears.

At a cost level, air cooled has the advantage over water cooled because you don't need to also invest in renting or buying cooling towers and condenser water pumps. That means if you're operating a small to medium sized project that doesn't need heavy duty chilling, an air cooled chiller is the more sensible choice. That's not to say they aren't good for large industrial projects, either. On the contrary, many industries are turning towards air cooled chillers because of their cost savings.

Another benefit of air cooled equipment is that it takes up less room. You don't need to set up a mechanical room in order to run the chiller. This leaves more room in your property to do other day to day tasks. If you're running an industrial project that requires the use of a chiller, consider choosing air cooled chillers to save space and money.
